A made to order bakery A Sweet Success Bakery provides fresh high quality desserts for both wholesale vendors. Venues such as retirement communities coffee shops and colleges. The Bakery provides member workers with one-on-one training skills which are transferable and help aide in the creation of employment opportunities. Currently A Sweet Success Bakery has contracts with several large local establishments including Guilford College Harris Teeter Scuppernong Books Pennybryn Maryfield and Wellspring Retirement. The parent company is Sanctuary House located at 518 N. Elm Street. One hundred percent of the bakery’s proceeds are donated to Sanctuary House – a local day program for adults with mental illness.
